A must stop, even if you are not rafting. You could have a drink or easily stay all day. We are from out of state and would return to the area just to hang out here. This is not only a cool place, but the food, drinks and employees are great!
Great place to sit outside, enjoy the view, and to bring your doggo too! We sat outside looking over the rapids, ate an adequate cheeseburger, and sipped a yummy margarita.
Took the great Smoky Mountain Railroad tour to this place. Had a great time. Great atmosphere. If you’re in the area, this is the place to be.
Just sitting here creekside having a cold draft beer. Listening to music and the creek. Watching the paddlers try and do the water course. Great place for family's or couples. Getting major island in the mountains vibes. Puppies welcome. Sit back in the shade at a table or lounge in a chair. Absolutely beautiful.. parking can be a bit tricky. I would recommend you stop and enjoy this beautiful place in the North Carolina mountains.
Awesome river views in a kid-friendly outdoor space with great weather nearly year round. Very cool place to grab lunch, dip feet in the river (spring/summer), or even launch from. Only criticism is that the food is a bit overpriced for how basic it is.
A gem! We loved spending the day here watching kayakers and tubers make their way down the river—it’s such a fun and lively scene. The river is easily accessible, and we were able to wade in and cool off while taking in the beautiful surroundings. There’s a great balance of adventure and relaxation here. Whether you’re exploring the outdoors or just soaking it all in, it’s the perfect spot. We appreciated having two restaurants on-site—one with cozy indoor dining and the other with outdoor seating and fantastic views of the water. It was the ideal place to grab a bite and people-watch, as the area is full of energy with folks just hanging out and enjoying the day.
The nachos and venue are top notch. This is a cool place with a good vibe. Recommended!
A bit expensive for what it is but like they say in real estate "location location location". The convenience is fantastic and the food tastes great.
